Based on the much-loved saturation channel of the Aguilar AG 500, the Aguilar AGRO II overdrive has been exclusively designed to set up bassists with a mega-broad range effect and maximum tonal flexibility. Everything from a warm, vintage-flavoured, valve-like edge to an all-out, brick-wall distortion is available here. And while the circuit effortlessly delivers rich harmonic overdrive, it still manages to preserve the full and round, organic tone of your bass. The stripped back control panel is loaded with just four pots: set a scooped sound or get more aggressive with a raging, mid-range boost via the Contour; set the optimum attack level via the Presence and ensure that your bass sound retains punching definition no matter the distortion level; conjure up a full array of overdriven and distorted tones with the Saturation pot; and to finish, the Level pot speaks for itself.
